Reason for Hope? Russia's Religious Collapse & Revival

Russia was conquered by an atheistic minority during an era of cultural chaos (resembling America's present). The Russian and Eastern European people suffered under this minority's ideology for seven decades and slowly succumbed to anti-religious oppression. When Communism collapsed in 1989, less than 20% of Russia's population identified as Christian. That number slowly began to rise, and now almost 80% of Russians associate with the Orthodox Church. The most visible symbol of this religious revival has been the building of hundreds of new churches around Russia. Putin recently celebrated the opening of Russia's beautiful new Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces.

Perhaps a few decades of woke neo-Marxist ideology will be enough for secular Westerners to start moving back towards God. Hopefully, we learn quickly.
