God's Silence
God's silence. How can we know our direction is right when God doesn't voice his approval or disgust? If good things happen to bad people then half of life is meaningless. Unless from this meaninglessness meaning is formed, as God formed the world from nothing.
Jesus' life was cursed "on a tree," and thus he implies that my life should also be cursed. But then we should measure our lives by the extent of our curse. But then how was Abraham blessed? Or was his life-blessing meant to be inverted in meaning? God proved he could bless in exchange for virtue and now he has demonstrated that he can curse in exchange for the virtue of "making oneself a curse," before then blessing eternally?
The world is "curse" on man, acting out the curse in exchange for eternal post-dream glory? This life is a dream. The meaning of Jesus: "I will have servant's whom I curse and, when they follow me despite that, they will be glorified." Unconditional love.
The apostles rejoicing in persecution. Jesus makes that kind of faith possible, because he proved that the process of virtue to curse to glorification was a God approved process.
Still, the problem remains, unless God speaks we cannot know the meaning of omens or curses (whether they're from a direction or source). Life is either anxious waiting for the appearance of God or prepping towards a path we hope he approves.
Too many variables to consider, so our hope is in the invisible guidance of the Spirit.
